first time ive offered tech help, here goes...
theres porobably many posts about this, i know ive asked it b4, but from all the info i hav found, this is wat u always hear.
front end.
weld 2 adjusters (avis ect) into the front beam. this allows u to adjust the height manually by getting under the car and rotating the nut to the
desired height.
this gives u like 4-6 inches of adjustment. but this will make ur ride very very firm unless u get some shorter shocks to compensate it, but will
still b firm.
next u would get some dropped spindles. they can be exspensive, like over $500 for the pair, these drop ur ride height a further 2-2.5 inches whilst
they maintain ur stock ride. a combination of the adjusters and spindles shuld get u low but reasonable ride quality.
rear.
for the rear u will hav the splines adjusted a notch or 2, depends how low u want to go.
i heard Custom bugs and buses in penrith do adjustable rear suspension.
after all that u will be very low.
and irs cars if ur 68 is irs wont hav the tuck in at the top of rear tyres like the earlier swing axles do.
who do u take ur car to in perth to work on it, find a vw mechanic
correct me if im wrong or left anything out guys
see, i hav been listening...

Any of Volkswest, Vee Dub Repairs and Spares or Vee Dub Center should all be able to get you some adjusters for the front end.
I would reccomend Kurt at Vee Dub Repairs and Spares - he has owned a long string of show cars, his current being a 1303 with a supercharged, injected
waterboxer in it. He can give good advice on what works, + can source most stuff for you.
If all else fails, look over east for the bits, as has already been mentioned, vvds or mick motors will prob have them.
