Would anyone else like an EFI - Engine Management forum topic?

I've been talking with quite a few people in regards to setup of diferent engine management systems such as Wolf, autronic, motec and microtec on performance vw engines.

Pretty much everyone has had their share of problems, and I think it is fair to say that we all could have benefitted from being to bounce idea's off of other people.

I figure a new forum topic that will cover all factory and aftermarket ECU's and EFI in general.

The subject matter might make for interesting reading to others that may not necessarly have EFI on their vw, but are interested in the topic.

Anyone else think this is a good idea?

Ian Swinkels.

Only being a new kid on the block around here (and to VW's) it seems that Sabaru's and VW's have a lot in common. Having said that I have a Jag V12 that has a LINK engine management system made in NZ. Now these guys make bolt on kits for WRX's.

Great Idea.....

Great idea.....go with it...there is enough of an interest in EFI (Aftermarket and factory) to fill a few pages.....along with turbo and supercharging...

great I need some help

I think that would be a great plan , with old and new set ups Vw and the new motor conversions some of us are doing ,then finding some of the jap import info is hard for ecu diagrams ect ,then you need to know how to read them!and how it works ( thanks Jenny ) with most of the lay outs on the web relating to turbos these days the n/a motors for those who like them and are fitting them ( ej20 quad cam ect ) need to know what the bit is ,see my post motor conversions ( what is a power tr unit ? ) 20 odd views and no one knows a ref would be mint , this would help a lot of us out in the long run and get us back in the drivers seat , seagull all I see when I close my eyes is more wires arararararararararar

Looking for that special lady : PM me for coffee & cake
