unfortunately, not in nsw mate. for it to be regod here, you would have to dump the motor. put in side protection, third brake light, washer bottle,
demister, change the seat belts, plus other stuff. the head lights dont meet post 74 rules. you could try and cheat by getting the plate from another
buggy. youmight get rego, but you wont be legal.
in nsw if you cant prove it has had previous rego you have to apply to post 94 regulations. so NO i dont think it would be worth it. i guarantee that
it you have 18k to spend on one. you wait and you will cetainly find one here and then do what you want.

i already have a buggy that had been rego'd in NSW that i was going to do something similar with. but i spose 18K is a lot to pay for something

if you've got a buggy already, you could build it yourself for 18K (obviously depends on how much you can do yourself!)
cheers

Of course you could allways print out the pics and go see your local RTA vehicle testing station and show them. A lot of those guys are petrol heads
from way back. You might be surprised, after all there are quite a few registered model T hot rods around.
If you drive fast enough you're past the accident before it happens !

Don't think it's worth it personally...expensive paddock basher. Couldn't see you ever getting it regestered unless you spend lotsa $$$
or get club rego. Looks bloody good though:thumb:thumb:thumb:bounce

It will never go through the same as a tbucket as we do not go through the rta anymore we have our own engineers and it will not meet the hot rod
rules.
Unfortunate as i am buiding buggies as well as a hotrod and the hot rod rules are so much simpler but still concentrate on saftey first.

For obvious reason this buggy does not belong on the road but off road. If you get it here and play it around in the middle of Australian desert, why
would you need it to be registered? Sand dunes is the playground and the roo bar is the only thing it will need.
Cheers.

I doubt you'd build that big buck running gear for much less. Let alone ad a decent buggy on top.
I'd go for it! Check with rego' first. But even not. I know people who'v spent 40+ buying race only 4x4's that they rarely get to
use because they work 6 days a week.
It's your call man. If you can get it rego'd, it's a bargain. And even not, I've seen alot of cars that people use once a month
for racing that cost 20 or 30, and they're not even anything special half the time. Whereas this is special
