Anyone got a Horsfall buggy
I just looked at The Wayne Horsfall buggy site and just wondering if anyone had one of his buggies.
I'm looking at importing a buggy from the states and saw his prices and thought they were good . it would be nicer to get a good quality new
buggy from oz.
Just wanting to know what the quality is like. Any help would be appreciated thanks

$$$$ are high, but the quality of workmanship is excellent :thumb
I know the guy who owns the red one on his cover page, very very happy with it.
Wayne is doing the pan for my J&S buggy.:thumb

I'm not interested in brads buggy because its know here in oz.
I want to have one customed to my flavour or import something.either way no one will have seen it on the streets.
I think brads buggy is close to the mark in price.

I think brads buggy is close to the mark in price. Maybe not 15k, but 13-14k sounds about right for that quality of buggy.
I reckon your right Graham, $15,000 is cheap for a buggy ready to drive for the work it takes to create the final product. A quality completed irs
pan is valued at around $3000.00 on its own. (depending on quality)
good luck clarkey.

I think you will find Brads cheap at $15000, you will see when you try to build one.

Yeah
looking around the 18k for new or imported.
I can get a new vegas buggy turnkey in RHD landed in oz for close to 13k with all the chrome and powdercoated bits and 2110cc motor.thats through a
friends import business but it won't be ready for when i go over to the states in May.

Sounds good :thumb
sell the 2110cc as it is to large an engine capacity to be regoed in NSW (for new rego buggies), fit side intrusion bars, fit a padded dash, fit Aus
approved seat belts, install seats that have two locking mechanisms, fit sunvisors, side and windsreen rear vision mirrors, demister, seatbelt warning
light, side indicators, middle brake light , wheel sizes that comply (safety rims), RTA approved rear cage and then have the whole car fully
engineered !!!!
Unless this is already included ??
I like your idea, just do all the research so you don't end up loosing your hair over it
P.S the more I learn about what's in Brads buggy, the more I realise it is not just another raised Manx :o

It was 64VW who said that not VW0064.
Anyway of course $15 000 is to much to pay for a buggy. I mean who would spend that much when they can spend much more and build a Mega Manx :P

In order to attempt to help people understand what goes into building a tough buggy I have added some text to my Buggy in the Members Rides area.
Nothing to details just a quick overview of what my fibreglass and tin actually is.
