ROFL, if thats a factory convertible then so's mine ... but in truth, he never said who's factory it was converted in, did he?
As for the "Conveted to front disc brakes" mine has front discs as well, which I thought were standard, what year did they change from Drum
to Disc on the front?

yeh he didn't say what factory it came from but it certainly wasn't Karmann. as for disc brakes here in europe the 1500 beetles first had
them in 68 i think in the U.S. they were introduced in 67

Drum brakes all round in USA & Canada..!!
Yes, We were lucky to get front Disc brakes from 1968 on......
The USA models always had Drum brakes all round. The late model Karmann Ghias had front discs, so front discs from wrecked Karmann Ghias sometimes
end up on Beetles over there....
A fellow in North America I talk to, doesn't know why Beetles didn't have front discs in the USA & canada, but He prefers the drums...
He keeps His drum brakes adjusted up all the time...
Reckons they are better than discs....
I know what I prefer though......

"factory" 1967 Beetle convertible....??
He also says its a 67 model... with vertical headlights and fuel tank flap on side...
I don't think this fellow knows what a factory is?? or anything about VW Beetles at all... Looks like it has one piece windows in the doors....
or no glass at all!
some wiring to do!!!!!!
I wonder if the "factory" put the fibreglass kit on too????
