to visor or not to visor?
hey has anybody got pics of bugs with a rag sun-roof and a metal sun visor on the front?
I got a new solid visor and am starting to think that it may not look any good.I don't want to paint the visor and I don't want to drill the
bug if its not going on.
any pics would be good:thumb

Hi Man
I spose it all comes down to what your taste in fashion is. If you like old fashioned style stuff they look great, you know spats and all that stuff,
the old school look. To look more modern stay away from it, more like cal or german look. Personally I like them, but only the solid type that is
painted the same colour as the car, that way it looks like it is a part of the car from the factory, the mesh type dont blend in with the colour, so
they look like a tacked on accessory.
Then there is the function side of things, they do what they are designed for, to shade the inside of the car, they do keep it slightly cooler & a
little more confortable.

visor
Hi ! Why not do what i did. Takes abit of time but worth it. Cover the unpainted visor with wide masking tape , making sure theres no gaps. Spray the
visor with a coat of paint thats as close to yours as posssible but don't be too fussy. Get your mate , nan whoever to hold it on the car in
place. (tape on body of car before that so no scarathes) and have a look , even take photos of it. Then pull the tape off !Sounds crazy but it will at
least give you an IDEA of what it will look like and take an hour or so to do. It will save an awful lot of headaches if you DON't like it.
Worked for me.
