The bar is officially raised
In my non-VW, unquenching thirst for speed, internet searching. I came across this. I've known about John Lingenfelter's (R.I.P) company and
the somewhat coachbuilt GM cars they turn out, and had heard about the 427 TT vette. And decided I had to do some serious searching.
http://www.fast-autos.net/lingenfelter/lingenfelter427tt.html
I remember a time when hot VW owners would brag about eating V8's
I wonder if there is anyone who possibly has a VW that can do 0-60 in 2 seconds or under?
And if not, what do you think could possibly propel a VW to these sorts of speeds (must be aircooled and flat4 tho).
I've seen heaps of vid's of this corvette and read many reviews, the car is totally driveable, due to it making it's power all under
6.5K.
Cheers,
Cam

naa, my Mum does'nt play the Volkswagen fan too well i.e: *fingers in ear* "la, la, la, I'm not listening. There are no cars more
comfortable or faster than my *enter vehicle description here*"
I've been doing my sums for full resto on my desired dub (don't even ask, lol). And so far a Porsche is looking feasible:jesus so I figured
may as well look at SHEER STUPIDITY in the running gear department

Yeah, seen his car. Although it does'nt make anywhere near that power on the strip let alone the street. He did a write up in Street Machine
about how he deliberately had to "hurt the motor" to make that much power. He also said there is no way it would survive one pass on the
strip putting out those HP numbers.
