A little blurry, but you get the idea, the whole left lane (except the truck) was full of VW's in some shape or fashion.

A fantastic day, even though I had to roll start my car every time I wanted to go anywhere (bloody starter packed it in on Saturday:cussing - but I
still came along). Was great to see all the old fav's along with some new vehicles. How mad was that trike with the fuel injection and
twin turbos:o!? 0-100kmh in under 4 secs! Crazy!
Well done to everyone who won trohpies - some classes were difficult to pick.
Well done to the organisers too.

I won the hard luck award this year:cry
My engine let go just as I pulled into the Pub. It threw the conrod straight though the case of the engine and made a hell of a mess:cry The engine is
totally stuffed and I will need to replace it with another one.
A huge thanks to 11Cab & Thook (Their Kombi won "The Dog" award) for towing me the 100klm trip home:kiss and everyone else who cruised
back with us to make sure we made it home safely.
Now all I have to do is find myself some $$$$$ and a replacement engine.

Well I had fun as usual looking at all the VW's at the pub :thumb
My old friend Carmen, from Nambour, really loved the Ghia's...but is realistic and is seriously considering a beetle:thumb Her son was a member
of the Bad Little Buggers a few years back I found out and he nearly went yesterday cos he still has contact with a couple of guys in the club...small
world!!!!
It is so hard finding people when you don't know what they look like of they are wearing sunnies!!!! I caught up ever so briefly with Wes, Tazz,
Y2K and Brad. Judy, Rob and Fish had started their run home by the time I got there

Yeah i just dont know how to get them from the program to the attachment.
Anyway had a great day looking at all the dubs. A big congratulations goes to Jeff from Sydney who one three trophies(i think) for his drop dead
gorgeous 56 oval (COOL 56-- pink/purple paint with yellow and checker interior) Really nice guy to talk to.
He got Best modified beetle pre67

When I saw Jeff's Cool 56 I was thinking I hadn't seen any other Flat 4's from Sydney??? When I ran into him later I found out he was
hlidaying and working in the area and had only just found out about the Dubs at the Pub event, so he went along...going home with 3 trophies he said
he woulkd make room for on the trip home
The was another beetle there recently painted in the same pink as Cool 56!!! Jeff was talking to the owners when I ran into him...all was very

slow....yeah right. Nothing slow about that car. i caught up to him a few times but everytime i got close he'd pull out and varoom.... he was
off. Good on him though, if you've got it you might as well use it. You only live once
