someoen has suggested to me that the way my muffler is routed that it would affect the running temp of my motor. if you look at the pic, you see the empi exhaust mounted on the left of the motor with one pipe running around the rear and then back around down the left side.
it was done this way as hte bus sits low and am restricted.

so what do you guy//gals// and professionals think?

oh and you will notice a pipe in the rear shroud. this is actually part of some ducting some cool air from up front.

It looks as if it is all beneath the engine seal so it shouldn't affect the temp of air going to the fan. you are using the seal I hope.

absolutely. so if it si all below, which it is, what about heat over the case of hte engine? would it have any effect?

Looks like it would cause no more problems than any extractor - things might get a bit hot if you got caught in the kind of traffic jams we used to have in the 70's, but you could always shut your engine down while you sat!
