hi all
am new to the forum.have a 1970 fastback which i am fixing up.
it is 1600 auto with the ususual rust left hand front guards etc.
would like to know where you buy complete rubbers for doors,bootlid,windowsetc also hoodlining as old one was trashed and i went on a rust hunt so everything came out.
plan is to fill all badge,chrome striping,aerial,numberplate light fitting ,both number plates,paint it yellow,lower(how far to avoid law hassles)
fit early bumbers,maybe paint wheels red with original hubcaps ,dress rim and whitewall tyres.
better stop know i have too many questions

thanks for the info re vintage vee dub supplies.
i live in renmark south australia
47 years old had lots of vw.s when younger just getting back into them with the fastback also have a 66 fastback which needs lots of work(usual rust) has been sitting in a paddock for 4years.
i was told by a vw parts place in adelaide that most parts for fastbacks need to be imported from usa
i am a little way from needing them just finding a panel beater who is interested in rust work is a chore in itself i have two left hands in that area.
