Did anyone ever make...
a pop out rear window for a beetle? It'd be ideal to fit my fishing rods into my baja when it's on the road

I used to just kick the rear window out of my old driver Bug, so I could fit fishing rods, long bits of wood etc.
I had a roll of electrical wire in the boot so I could put it back in after, the rubber was worn so it went in easy!.

Hi
A hinged rear window would be cool in a Baja, the was a fibreglass kit around years ago that did this and used split windows. It lifted up like a
hatchback. Maybe you clould do the same with a pre 68 rear window.
