Wannabe split?

I work at a servo and last night about 6:00 I saw within about 2 min two 60's bugs and then coming down the road a bay window camper with a paint job like a split!? The only difference was that the edge/curve of the two colours was flatter ie more horizontal. I thought maybe the owner wanted a split but couldn't afford it!

Yeah maybe. There is a couple of Oval Beetles getting around with a split window rear welded in.:D
