Country Buggy Shocks

Okay so I may have left things a little late for dubs, but have fixed the brakes and in doing so I think that I might change the front shocks as well. The parts manual for the c/buggy just has them listed as Monroe Wylie with part no. 12A 413 oo5A but what should these be off. kombi, beetle- anyone done this recently ???

Shockers are same as front Kombi thru to end of Bay window (about '80). I would use Beetle shocks (up to '67) as the CB is much lighter than a Kombi. Rear shocks also Beetle (up to '69) or Split window Kombi.
