Oil Bath filters?
Just did an oil change on the bus, cleaned the oilbath, do you clean the element(horse hair thingie) as well ? wash it in kero or what? . Thanks

Yes you have to clean that as well because thats where all the dust gets caught. give it a good flush with some Kero or Petrol.
The base or lower section also has a lip where stuff gets caught under so flush it good.
Be careful with the decal on the outside

Thanks dave yes quite a bit of gunk under the lip. I felt that I should flush the element but was reluctant to as I wasnt sure with what , petrol
makes sense and then a blow with the compressed air.

yep petrol or Kero if you can soak it for a little while might be good as well.
