Yeah Yeah, Water under the bridge now!!!!
But really, Next time I make sure the dam water tank is full, and maybe take someone elses Patrol. Haven't priced the replacement tail light yet
and still to see if the rear guard is able to be buffed out or repainted. Oh Yeah and still have to fix the side steps!!!!
Man these Buggy trips are hard on the 4WD. Might have to Take my Buggy Next time.

Sunday.

Unfortunately I couldn't make it on Saturday night. One of My Girlfriend's mates was having a birthday party.
The GF has to come before the car sometimes.
Anyway, I hope there's some good video footage. I would have like to have seen the video unedited as my fairly tame driving will probably not
make it onto the next manx club DVD. I was keen to see what had been taken of my car, and what it looked like from the outside.
If I can borrow a copy of the unedited material that would be great.
Hope you guys had a good night, and didn't get too sunburnt Sunday.

Kombi's at LCMP
Dont discount Kombis from there. We went to landcruiser mountain 3 years ago in our 70 dual cab(complete with 1600t.p. and slipping clutch) and drove
on a few tracks around the park without any dramas. Our friends had to leave their commodore at the entrance so we had to cart all their gear in our
truck to our campsite (15minutes drive from entrance). This is the place where I converted my friend to the benefits of 300mm clearance an excellent
traction, considering it only had 235/75s on the back. Ironically we went there in winter and all that was missing was the snow. It was BLOODY
FREEZING which is worse than BLOODY HOT when your camping. So I reckon spring or autumn are the go. Anyway If you guys are coming to blackduck valley
I'll have to come out and say HI,( Its only 20 minutes from our place) . I might even put the ute back together for a run out there. Remember the
kombi's C.O.G is lower than a 4wd's.

Double Quote"Remember the kombi's C.O.G is lower than a 4wd's. "
What the!!!!!
Having followed a Kombi Offroad during the Night Nav run for the Manx Club, I would have to say, This statement may be a little, Incorrect!!!:vader
I'm Happy for you to prove me wrong, but as I said following Graham in his Baja Kombi, I was happy to be driving a Buggy.
Kombi's are cool and all that, but they do have limitations. No way you would catch me on some of those hills in a Kombi.

Man having owned a kombi I would have to say the COG is much higher than my Jacked Hilux. I will have both buggy and Hilux at Black Duck so will
happily go hill climing with you if you like.
