My New 58 Beetle
Check it out. Scored this in a swap for my notch. Thanks to a good friend, none other than mister wrecker67. He knew someone who knew somone etc etc
that was having relationship probs or something and next thing i have swapped my car for it. It needs a buff and clean and a few things done before
rego. And anyone out there wondering about Wrecker67 spray painting abilities, he did this car three years ago and it looks sweet.

Scott mate you can come over any day. Just call me before hand as I may not be home. It is down at my nans at the moment as I have no room at home or
in the shed. Me and Craig moved it last night in all that rain. We were both drenched. Have to give the guy my notch yet.
Frenzix I wil race you for sure. I bet I come last though. We can have a slowest wins race. It has an 36 horse 1955 motor in it. Very cool.

I thought a 58 was an oval window, I coudn't see from the pic if it had semaphores which came out as late as 59 with a full size window.
Maybe I'm wrong
Anyone else?

no. 57 was last of the ovals. 58 was first of the bigger window, and i still maintained semaphores.
they seem hard to make out in the pic above.
