trikes

I went on a joyride on a 1916cc trike on Saturday. I've always wanted one of these beasts but now I just gotta have one. Only thing is, which one of my current toys has to go?

My daughter was in heaven. I was trying to hold on to her so she (I) didnt fall out but she wouldnt have any of that. She was looking around, waving to everyone. Would be the coolest kid in school being dropped off on one of them.

Awesome fun and only $12 for 12 kms. Much better value thatn $3 for 2 minutes on a jumping castle.

yeah, they cost a lot (one in the trading post for 20K) but thats half the price of a commodore which is nowhere near as much fun, and a brake light switch wont cost $75 like a falcons, and a wheel bearing is a wheel bearing, not $375 for a whole rear hub like a lancer.

It doesnt rain in Australia, we're always in drought. I can see it now, cruising the beaches on sunny sundays, waving at bikini girls, stopping in at shellharbour pub for a couple of
:beer:beer

Sounds like a mid-life crisis to me.......:D

But seriously, if you want one, build one. because 20 to 30 grand is a hell of a lot of brass for something that is essentially a toy.

As for it not raining in Australia, don't put money on it.
I've been getting my arse wet on a bike for a lot of years now.

Seagull, what sort of stock & forks do you use??

Well my friends are gone & my hair is grey, I ache in the places where I used to play.

plenty of mid life thingos happening here. Pissed off that I must be going to die at 66 yrs old. I wont be getting a trike for a long while, because it would mean selling my oval (unthinkable), selling the fastback (wont get anywhere near enough money), selling the kombi (what do I drive rainy days). What I have now doesnt fit in the garage. Maybe when the fastback goes bang.
