I managed a 14.8 in the fastback.
There is no way I can keep up with the turbo boys while Naturally Aspirated.
Heathcote is a great track. Easy to get runs in without having to queue up for too long. Very friendly and good facilities.

Sure am Cam.
Kicking around the thought of "old" school turbo. Holley 750 turbo prepped with T03.
I have all the right electrics (Mallory HyFire with boost retard.), I have the Holley Blue fuel pump. The gearbox should be up to the job. (Ivan
Albins gears, close ratio with LSD) and the chassis has been strengthed to cope with it.
I am making a truckload of power for NA, but the fastback with rollcage is just too heavy. I don't want to lighten the car, so the answer is
more power.
Oh, A 100 hp shot of nitrous isn't out of the question either.
Low 14's - 13's was my goal when I was in SA. I now have my vision focused on 12's-11's.
I must be hanging out with the wrong crowd.

Dude that would be awesome! RLR style Are you going to intercool it
as well?
14's in a heavy typeIII with a cage is bloody impressive. If you can get it into the 11's that would be unreal.
Is the car your daily driver?

awesome!!!! but liek the dirt more that bitumen. 800m dirt track in around 50secs (flying with about 1/3 being 40 to 50 km/h). then when that was over
nicked next dor and got 30min of carting in with the the heally club!!!
just planning ahead
next weekend- afternoon at the mt cotton skid pan
weekend after- sprint meet on the dirt track !!!!!!
weekend after autocross test and tune
weekend after is bug in with motokhana and khanacross,

I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!
Go hard or go home!!!!
