taking out the cargo floor
ok...I'm about to cut out the old floor in the cargo area in a 66 bus, whats the best way,like where to start and the best tools for the

Let the games begin
Metal chisel (with long handle welded to it) or air chisel. Drill (yuk) and 3mm bits or 'torpedo' bits gor taking out spot welds...
Method of removal depends what you want to save underneath. Its easy enough to break the spot welds where the floors connected to the I beams
underneath by chiselling (look underneath for which are the I beams).
But if the 'top hat' sections (shaped like a top hat) underneath are good and you want to save them you have to drill the ALL the spot welds
where the floor is connected to them. Just trying to chisel the floor off these will rip up the top of the top hat sections underneath.
LOTSA drilling but patience and time is a virtue. Care and time now saves you more pain later!
I just start at one side and roll it up like a carpet. It'll be a full days work+.

Cut through just behind the bulkhead panel in the front. Go easy and cut 1mm deep because there's a top hat directly beneath it.
At the rear cut directly in front of the rear wheels wells. You can carry that line across the floor if the little bit of floor behind that is still
good - saves you releasing that little bit from the heater pipes. If that bit is rusty too, cut along the sides of the rear whell wells and then
across at the very rear of the cargo floor (you also have to release it from the heater pipes....)
