EJ20 wiring loom.DONE at last
Ok for all those out there that are doing or thinking of putting a subi into something I have found a place who just takes your box of wiring from
your front cut and for around $350 give it back to you converted and labled and ready to install or they will do the whole thing for you. They were
very helpful so far and I should get mine back soon so I will let you all know how it goes.
They are PerFOURmance Motor Sports at sprinwood in brisbane and if you like you can call them on 07 38084244 or try http://www.pms.net.au
Cheers

Hey Andy,
i assume that they'll do any version of a Suby engine? And what do they need from the old engine/vehicle for reference? Do they just need a
wiring diagram? Do they need the old loom?
Thanks,
Andy.

mmm
I suggest you contact them directly..
From what I can tell they do any subie engine and has a test bourd and all for them. They specialise in putting Four cylinder suabru engines into
anything the customer wants and from all reports and very good at what they do.
They will need / preffer the complete loom so unless you know what you are doing I reckon doing like ANdy and giving them a big ass box of everything
and smilling as you walk out the door is the best way to go.
Once Andy has his loom back I am sure photos will follow.
I just spoke to a guy who got his loom done there for some weird ass kit car and he is anal as. Anyway the result was a big grin and the best money he
ever spent ..
Just so no one gets the wrong idea, there is no affiliation here just people happy to find and auto elec with the balls to give it a go at a good
price and quality level.
Maybe they will do my KLZE for me if I tell them it is almost an EJ :o

I am sure they do any subi ones. If you check out their website they have some sick vehicals All I gave them was a big box with every wire and teh computer that came from my front cut. I am sure if you had no wiring
they could still make you one up but at a price a guess. They are very easy to deal with and I found they spent the time to tell me exactly what i
needed and what I would get.
Prety much Just what Brad said
Oh and they did mantion teh VP rally Ute is for sale CHEAP if anyone wants it.

People I don't understand EXACTLY what this service offers!
If you send them an ECU and loom, they send me backwhat exactly, the ECU and
the loom with all unwanted wiring removed and all remaining wires labelled?
Someting other than this?
Thanks,
Andy.

what they will do is to take you box full of wirring and remove all unwanted wirring and to make it run with out speed sensors if the vehical has
them. It is ready to plug and play and then they lable the remaining few wires wich will go to your existing loom. Like ignition etc

This sounds like a good place to remember. Will save people doing this conversion a heap of head banging against the wall and pulling any remaing

ok another and teh only thing i wish I had done was to get it shortend from teh origanal length. Oh and I wish teh wirring loom was not cut in half
to begin with as they had to rejoin it and teh joiners are not great quality But both my fault. And all in all I am happy with it :thumb

Ok I give up .....
I have been building looms and circuit boards for years and I just can't seem to figure out what the thing in the middle is that looks like a can of
lift... More to the point how will you car run without it ? I thought they were very important :P
