I guess this is Hello
A hoy hoy fellow 'Dubbers.
After lurking for a little while, I guess its time to introduce myself.
Me: 23, Hailing from the great town of Adelaide (it IS a town, dont let anyone tell you different ). With a wide range of interests, Computers, Cars and Surfing being the main ones, in No particular order.
Cars: Where, O where to start. I'll start with my inital car, which while being a Panelvan is not of the VW Variety, its a '77 Holden HX
Panelvan with a 253 V8 and Auto Slushbox, fairly entertaining and very functional to drive around in. An on the Boil project is another panelvan HZ
Sandman this time, to be powered by a 304 EFI V8.
Dubwise, which is what I'm sure most of you are interested in. It all started about 4 Years ago visiting my Grandparents in Woolongong, My
Grandad had purchased a Converted convertible superbug with a 2L Twin Carb engine, and it both looked and sounded sweet. Needless to say, My SO
decided on the spot that one day she would have one.
Fastforward 2 Years, Moving out of home finally gave me some shed space to myself. We began looking for a Beetle, the bug had bitten. The Muir book
was worth every cent when it came to checking common rust spots. and beetle issues. After some looking we found a suitable start, White, fairly
average body, no roof, 64 beetle. It was driveable, which was a big plus. The other big plus was that it came with a free Dog, The previous owners
bitch had just whelped and there was a litter roaming around the yard, a Deal was struck, $500 and 30 minutes later we had a Beetle and a puppy, and
we still have both .
After some TLC from my SO and her family, and a New convertible roof being made, the Beetle is now back on the streets of Adelaide.
I Guess thats me in a Nutshell, although after reading about Fraser in the VWA magazine, I am keen to try my hand at a Buggy, it looks like fun.

Beetle looks good.. I didn't see the dog anywhere though
I really like Adelaide, and I hope to get down there one day in My Beetle..

Well, its been 2+ years, but we now have another addition to the VW family...
Its a baja of some description, unsure yet as to what year its based on, how big the engine is, or the extent of whats wrong with it...
I know it has a dead generator for sure and spent this weekend changing it... and I'm sure many other things will pop up... hopefully I will be able
to drive it down to Glenelg on the 26th.
