Veronica's feelings are hurt !
I was driving down the ring road last monday after a horrible day at work when I spotted a lovely white beetle in the middle lane of the freeway. I
sped up to get a closer look, as I got closer I saw a VWCV sticker on the side back window. I caught the attention of the male driver, pointed to my
own VWCV sticker and waved ...... The driver stuck his nose up in the air and moved over into the left and wouldn't even look at me !!!!!!!
I would like to let that driver know that he has hurt the feelings of my poor beetle. Veronica won't stop crying, she is too ashamed to be seen in
public as she is scared that she will be shunned by members of her own family !!!!!
Shame on you !

people like that suck.
I have waved to so many people in the last couple of weeks and havn't got one back.
Its one thing not to wave but not to wave when you are being wavedat is dispicable.
They dont deserve to be driving these remarkable vehicles.:kiss

yes our poor old 67 bug got shunned by a lovely red convertable with 2 young girls in it as my wife was driving thru Strathpine the other day. It
makes you realise that not all bug drivers are friendly

I would like to take this opportunity to apologise for not waving in past yr, to anyone who may have waved at a crusty black baja in Bris area,,,,and
not seen a wave in return, i really am sorry, i have not been rude, just have been unable to wave due to dikky 4th, weird noises, bad brakes, crap
steering, other cars on road whom do not understand how challenging it was to drive a renovators delight and kept thinking that space between car in
front was purely for fun........tis all fixed now,,, promise to wave profusely, may even fix horn so i can beep too!!!!
I know what you mean, even smiling at some of the grumpies out there,, you feel like a dick when they ignore you! Don't give up, just keep on waving
i say............... till the men in the white coats come,.... "hmmm flies sir, just lots of flies"....:P |

When we wave at others when we are in the new beetle vert we get about half wave back but they look stunned that someone in a new beetle waved.
I must say we do get more waves back from other new beetles now compared to when we drive our "classic".
