Well according to god breather boxes are to separate the oil from the air/oil mist thats in your case and to let your case breathe by venting via lines to your carbs and to then return the oil to the case on deceleration, and i have no idea what i just said so direct all enquiries directly to GOD.:)

boxs

They basically act as an air filter for your case / tappet covers and reduce crank case presure thus reducing blow by. I use a K & N filter on top of a funnel. This allow breathing when under pressure and when not it just runs back into the case.

You can buy breather boxes for like $50 which are alloy case filled with foam .

you can make your own. Got one welded up at an exhaust shop, bought the fittings I needed and then the hose out it all together. Box cost $30 to make up plus hose plus fittings

I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!

http://www.mickmotors.com.au

Mickmotors have a kit, about $60 or so. I bought it for my engine and it has all fittings etc. I would replace the hose that comes with the kit but the good hose is about $3 from a hose supplier.

I have one of these in the shed, it is what Mike is talking about.

You have U2U :>

Oh the stuff in the pic is the kit BUT the Alloy Filler cap is not part of that, these are sold on their own.
