Put in a 3/8" line so you can run injection or big carbies or maybe even TURBO one day.

Talk to Boris at VVDS for his advice

Yeah, make sure the fuel filter is before the fuel pump, not after it. That way the pump will actually suck the hoses onto the barbs rather than trying to blow them off. :)

I agree - if you've got the time (and the car stripped down enough, and I guess at 14 you have - put in the 3/8" - but leave the original fuel line in place: you can use it for the return in a fuel injection setup [by the time you can drive it you may not have a choice whether to usefuel injection (A GOOD THING)] or you'll be smart enough to run a full-flow regulator anyway (if you need a 3/8", you'll be making that kind of power))

That should get you some nice petrol smells inside the car as you corner left!!!

The correct venting for the non-emissions (older style) set up always has the actual vent pipe up and over the instrument cluster so it's the highest point in the system, then down the LEFT side of the car and out through a slot to the left/under the tank.

Taking a vent straight down the right side is a problem because the filler and breather are only about 50mm higher than the tank, so when you corner left the fuel sloshes up the filler and breather and out the incorrect vent!
