Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns December 04
Hi guys, Me and my girlfriend are coming over to Oz in decmeber, we'll be touring the east coast and wondered if there are any VW shows/drag racing
to take in, or if there are any must see sights for a Veedubber?

Heaps to see up here in North Queensland!! No dub shows though so thats a bit sad:cry Email me yer home address and I'll send some pamphlets on
places to go in Cairns/Townsville region

Let me know when you are thinking of comin over and then i can put some info together for you for the Brisbane area and send it over to you.......
including VW stuff.
If have a couple of days free maybe take in the sights from Stradbroke Island.

Cool, we are going to be around Brisbane for 5 nights from the 3rd December to the 8th. I have been reading up about Straddie and it looks cool
especially Blue Lake Park. We'll have a car too for the 5 days so we can get to most places, we were thinking of driving down to Byron bay too.
Also isnt Willowbank Raceway near Brisbane too???

We are going on a Contiki tour from Brisbane up to cairns which is an 11 night tour and takes in Port Douglas and includes a 2 night sail around the
whitsundays too, but then we'll have an extra 3 nights in Cairns to do our own thing before heading off to Fiji. Heard alot about Cape Tribulation
and the table lands it all sounds real cool!

Anyone else got any ideas? Like col VW shops to stop at on route, I'd love to see Rod Penrose's car whilst i am out there and Simon Holgersons Nasty
bug V8 Pro mod bug.
