Have you been to the Volksenthusiasts meetings yet.
First Wednesday of the month at the Hackney Hotel, Hackney Rd. Hackney.

Nope, not really checked out the VW scene since I've been here, just been tied up with work for the most part. But now that work's calming down a
bit I'm looking for a project and would like to hook up with some of the locals and check out the scene.
I'll be sure to call in - I should be working day's that week so no excuses!! Thanks for the Info.
