pulling apart a 1600 motor what I found !

I was given a 1600 motor ( I was in need of a cam )

The motor had done no more that 5000Ks the second bearing from the rear had shit its self ,there was no bearing left in the conrod ? why is it that a few of these I have pulled apart it is this pistion that kills it self .??
