DEan the interstate think would be good if you could STANDARDISE all the dynomoters in each state.
take the same car to 10 different places and you will NO doubt get 10 different readings
Jak should i bring the 1500 SP.... gotta get one for lowest then,

Yeh Dave , definantly come along, it would be good to catch up.
As for the dyno's being out, I've heard that its as much as 20%!
The last time I put my car on the dyno it had only 92hp @ the wheels, unfortunantly the dyno that I used has closed down & I've changed the
cam since last time so I won't be able to see the difference. I've found a new one which I'm hopefully going to next week to take a
reading before I pull it down over Xmas for improvements. Will be interesting to see the difference in dyno's

Jak, This idea of yours is...TOPS! At first I felt there is no way id go to that but Secoh has really changed my mind. He's taught me that these
are exercises in FUN!!
Secoh, The dyno op would have to do some real tweakin' to his dyno to get it to read THAT measurement from my car! I reckon Im a shoe in for the
LOWIES trophy!

I think mine would get the highest power out of a standard 34pict and would be a good comparison for if I ever get the blower finished. I'll put
in a very interested vote." A possible".
Great Idea.

OK if I had a third it would be out there to DRAG!!!!
In my earlier days I used to go to the speed ways and drag races a lot and used to think I could Drag anyone off. Bel stays as she is but if I ever
find the one that I reckon suits modifying and I buy it, then I'm in:bounce
Not racing though, I like the surge of take off:thumb
Did I say all that:o

possible date???
Shall I give SAS a call & book us all in for the first Saturday Morning of Febuary? I was thinking that this gives about 5 - 6 weeks to get
ourselves organised, myself included. Does this suit everyone?

Hey, guys: 25.4kw rear wheel equates to an estimated 46HP at the flywheel, quite respectible for a reliable (read non-US) result for a SP! I'd
love to see some figures for "stockers" amongst the results - it'd give us all something to aim for, and the "stockers" an
idea of what their "tweaks" have produced (or how sick their enginges are...) Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it, I'm
starting a new job soon, (otherwise I'd be proud to have a "starting" figure before my rebuild.)
More power to ya!

Jak
A couple of dates 4 yar... Club Vee Dub has runs on Sat 8,9 and Sun 23 Feb.
so dont book it on these dates.
Dean there is NO way you could allow a percentage error. The only way to do it is have all cars run on the same machine under the same weather
conditions etc etc etc, however unless they have a weather station like a jet engine test cell, calculation can be made. But we would be lucky if the
guys running it can tune the cars on it.
