I kinda just do it for fun, but I've started doing it a lot more regularly lately. I film bands etc, create little portfolio kinda things. N I'm
just finishing a training video for a cafe out here.

I've just done a few band vids for a couple of Sydney & Melbourne bands. Some are friends, some are just bands I liked so I asked for permission
to film.
One of the dvds is going over to the states soon to be included in a doco about aussie music so that's kinda exciting. Unfortunately, all the copies
I made were screwed and I sent them off not realising... :o
very professional... oh well, the band know I'm just doing it for
fun. I'm an amateur!
Come on, you know you wanna show offf...
And my profession, by the way, is that of a receptionist. Not as exciting as an editor...

I don't have enough time for this stuff. I keep staying up late to do my real life stuff, so I'm gonna cut back!
As for my career; lots of pro work in Europe, North and South America, but Australian companies wont give me a job because I'm overqualified!
Evidently companies like Lamborghini, Mercedes Benz and such on my demo reel can intimidate Aussies?!? Go figure! Do they really think the dole is an
option???
Now I have to start my own company and kick their arses. Another reason why I have to cut back on this stuff!
