silly idea :)
Just thinking, what would happen if you plugged your fan shroud outlets (the ones that go to your heater boxes) into the intake - it was sealed up
airtight
Do you think this would work as a crude form of supercharging
Just a silly idea I'm guessing the intake might rob the engine fan of
needed air???
ideas :P

You would have to fit J pipes as no air through the heater boxes will cause yr engine to over heat.
I think there would be too much air capacity for the engine, and its not really compressing the air only pushing it.

hmmm I never turn on my heaterboxes in summer, and I dont have problems. dont the late heaterboxes still pump air through the heaterboxes but have a
valve open which lets the hot air out in the lower engine bay?
Anyway my suspicion was that it would not have enough pressure... although the fan does pressurise the air when it hits the fins. Is anyone game
enough to try it and see ?

yep, its a silly idea... although if youve got nothing better to do, you may as well give it a crack.
