Hi Dubstez
Here a some cars I've done, all the prep and paid a proff. painter to put the color on in a booth, to prove you can do it by yourself with a little
time and patience
Stag: bare metal 2k full ground up resto, Protec canary yellow base
XM: 2k respray, minor repairs, Spies Hecker custom mix
Navara: Bare metal 2k, 2 stage DeBeer WRX pearl

Hi Cory,
For the XM it cost me $300 materials + a bottle of Beam for the booth. I was quoted $2500 for a repray|minor repair(not 2pak)
A good mate of mine gunned the color on.
The Navara was about $1200 materials + $300 booth and painter
The Triumph was about $2000+ for materials as this was a full ground up build and everything was repaired and stripped.
Jobs like this usually cost $8K onwards...
Of course Im not counting the hours spent!-Wayne
