I need a Few Inches... Ha, Don't we all

Well that got your attention...

So I need a little advise on resetting my spring plates to give me some more ride hight..

After a good hid in some sand and dirt with some tyres in the rear I now have a bit of neg camber and could do with a raise..
I have heavy shocks already but before I go getting bigger Tortion bars I would like to try just an ajustment..

So Who has done it..?

I have two books and both have a vairied take on how to do it.. The VW book says USE SPECIFIC VW TOOL HERE..
Grrr
The other book is a litle better and from what I understand I relax the tention on the springplate drop it down and just remove it off the splines rotate it round one or two notches (Splines) and put it all back together.. Repeate on other side..

Is this correct..?

Any one want to give me an idea of how many splines I should shift it down.. Mu Baja book gives an Idea to line it up with the retaining strap hole...

So anyone want to come and do it for me... Ha ha ha..
Alot of crap to pull off and put back together, Those adjustable plates will look worht it after this I think..

Any advise is appreciated, Any tricks would rock..

Thanks all..
