The Manx Club Site is at www.manxclub.org
There you can e-mail some pictures of the buggy and have it verified as a geniune Manx then with a Verification Plate supplied, there will never be
any doubt that the Buggy is a true Manx.

Motor is either a EA81, EA71 or EA61 - its the early 80's subaru motor that was used in almost everything from that era. Depending on which one it
is, it could be 1.6, 1.7 or 1.8 liter.
Fairly good dependable motors from what I know, but not exactly Formula 1. I seem to recall something like 70 or 80 odd HP, but I'm sure someone will
correct me if I am wrong.

Yes it doe's look to be a Manx (clone). The back of the body does not look like an original meyers car, even if the extra cut out for a aircleaner
or whatever had not been cut out. Sorry to mabey dissapoint you on your car identification but from the photos provided this is just my opion as a
Meyers Manx owner. But to up your spirits a dune buggy no matter the body shape they are all great fun(trust me i have 2 of them) . Andrew

I have to disagree- just look at the rear cargo area (battery/tyre well) looks like a manx one- reinforcing under guards looks right too, not to
mention the rear end. I'm sure its a manx- altho a badly mutilated one.
