Nope, but I've seen it been done. Not too hard either, basically make four into two. I think the best way would be to cut diagonally between two of
your spot welds, undo your spot welds, take off that side (the shock towers are two sides spot welded together, then seam welded to the beam) and then
run your diagonal cut the opposite way on the other side. Do this a couple of inches higher than the cuts on your donor beam, stick it all back
together, weld it and perhaps seam weld it if you want some extra strength...
Hope that very vague suggestion gives you some ideas dude.

ok..... so ive been thinking bout this..... how does this sound?
take a template of the towers ....... but extend where the beam goes in .....up 2 or whatever inches.... make 4 of these out of 5mm plate, seperate
them by the thickness of the actual shoctower..... so theres 2 big plates and a few sort of gussets going up and down and reenforcing around the beams
and the shock towers..... will do a sketch

NO NO NO
for ball joint tower extension you get a 2 inch hole saw and drill cut out the tower where the shock bolts onto.
Get a bit of 2 inch dia steel tubing by 2 inches long and weld it to the top of the tower.... fill the end in with a large dia washer.... Works
really easy on the ball joint front end.
Just make sure the shock fits inside the bit of 2 inch pipe.

Dont cut the actual towers as this weakens them, its much easier as i described above.

Thanks for that guys. But im thinking of extending them for bigger airbags, so i need the actual flat bit of the tower. Has anyone done this?
