How hard is it to grease the Rear Wheel Brgs?
I don't think I have ever greased the rear wheel Bearings of an Air Cooled VW..... Can anyone tell Me how difficult it is
to do........on My 68AutoBug Grease nipples would have been great.... Has anyone ever drilled the top of a tie rod end and screwed a grease
nipple in there...??? It would make the tie rod ends last a long time....

Sorry, never done it - my old '64 had swing axles, and the rear bearings were lubricated by gearbox oil.
Haven't thought about the Kombi's rear bearings yet. Will check the workshop though. Probably a once every 30,000 km job, like the fronts.
