Once you start doing full resto you will quickly realise that it is very easy to sink $12K in to a vw. I didn't have a close look at this one but I
know a thing or two about how much a resto will cost!! (even when you do a lot of work yourself)

It is more than i would pay
BUT
I am sure there are a lot of busses out there that have spent more.
Like it or not it has a (supposedly) rebuilt motor and box, leather seats (personally i would like that) and a new spray job.
I have to admit i am amazed how much the split copy is getting up peoples noses. Ummm.... i ........umm..... dont mind it???? free world.... my
choice.
Dont have a splt - dont understand. Maybe i am an idiot???
Whatever for a $1k you gould get a touch up of the doors and nose cone below the belt line. Would be an easy touch up. Then it would look real
nice.
Anyway.....whatever

lets not start the split/bay debate
if somone bought it for 12+ its cos they liked it, and they probably did get their moneys worth.. if it was dodged then they guy selling still has
it..
a good deal is where buyer/seller are both happy.. and u can't bid over a price ur happy to pay..
and never claims to be a split.. so not mis-informing anyone..
just my 2c
