hunting/advise for a bus, $4000 to spend

Gday fellow dubheads,

any advice/leads for my mate who's looking to spend round 4 grand for a bay window bus, pretty self contained camper,
anything special i should look for or not look for, looking around the gold coast or brissy or down to byron, any help or advice would be a great help, i know my way around hard tops, although never had a camper, looking to buy this weekend or next

what would you people get for around 4 grand???????????

i already have a dropped 76 bus myself, i have finally got my mates keen

Thanks again

have a good look for rust

coast kombi's are a bit prone to rust, look out for fresh paint and bog try to find one with a good history , not one that has been through 199 backpackers in the last few years
