73 Panel needing rear end - HELP
My brother-in-law (knowing that I like VW Type 2's) delivered his old merc to the wreckers and by chance grabbed a 73 Bay panel for $100.. He thought
he was doing me a favour as it was so cheap etc etc.. (Like I really need another type 2!!).. The body appears to have been prepared ready for
painting (rust appears to have been professionally removed)..
However, the van has no engine, g/box or rear assembly..
Any one in Melbourne (My bro is near Bacchus Marsh) that can help with fitting a powerplant and running gear into a 73 panel? Happy to pay reasonable
$$ if I can get the right setup..
Ideas?

Not fussed.. We are starting with nothing so the g/box axles, wheel hubs, IRS, motor would have to all be gathered up.. Not interested in spending
forever on this so I really want to "one-stop-shop" the whole lot..
Cheers

I thought a Victorian bus owner with spare parts or a wreck might want to take this on for a few $$.. Maybe not..
Can anyone from the state of Vic recommend a place I can take this bus for repair.. (Note:: needs the full backend mechanicals)
