Beetle door hinge pins
Hello all
Just a quick Q
I've had my door hinge pins replaced by an engineering shop BUT there is still a small amount of play in the hinge.
I'm not sure what beetle hinges are like when new but I would have thought that they had no easily detectable play.
Can any one confirm or deny this?
Should I be taking the door back and asking for closer tolerances.
Thanks
Jeremy

YEP there should be NO play at all.
there are 1st and 2nd oversize pins avaialble.
If you havea standard pin in the door and you have play Its got to be reamed out to next over size. This aint easy unless you have done them
