can u jack up a type 3?


hi gang
i have a type 3 and it's going to be a donor for my lwb manx ...one day ;(
any in the meen time just playing with it and someone told me you could jack up the front end easy ?? is this right if so how ? and is i the same to life the rear like a type 1 ?thanks

the front torsion bars are splined similar to type 1 rear.... rear is also splined

i neva got around to doing mine........ i guess till you hit the bump stops..... i think it is the bottom torsion bar thet is splined on the front and the top acts as sway bar??? i think you remove trailing arms and turn a couple of splines simliar to the back of a bug

I have a page about lowering type 3 front ends saved on my puter at work. Tomorrow I will post link to the site in question. Just reverse what it says.
