I bought my splitty from S.A & had it transported over to Melbourne with Autotrans express. It cost me $250 & was delivered to my door.Saved
alot of trouble as far as i'm concerned without the stress of not knowing whether it would break down with not knowing the real condition of the
engine. |

Its drivable although the longest trip I used it for was 45mins. Also being unregistered, I don't think you can drive it even if you get a permit.
Permit allows driving for RWC purposes only as far as I know. Will do some calling around on Friday Ross

vicroads permit is a piece off piss
you get your engine and vin number and take it in pay about $50 and you can drive it home where ever home is as long as you nominate where you are
taking it to and do not deviate too much ,its not just for roadworthy stuff , i took my baja to the nationals last year from albury to sydney and
back oh yeah tou can get 7 ,14 or 28 day permits
