Type 1 modified???
OK to be fair....maybe there should be a buggy section...there are so many enthusiasts on the forum here ...
I'll make the suggestion...elsewhere cos I don't want to start up a new section without permission...don't know if I can...
Buggy Brad is on of you...so I'd say we can/will do it
I didn't notice the change until I read this...so many of you do go to the shopping/trading section...

Just my 2c but I feel a "cars for sale" and "parts for sale" section would have been adequate.

Hmmm, very grateful for the mods who went to the effort, but I kinda agree with the 'parts forum' and 'complete cars' (being drive away cars)
forum suggestion.
Just for simplicity.
Are we a picky lot, or what?

It can take a bit of sorting through I've noticed...
When I DO go into that area there have always been so many posts that that day goes over onto page 2......
For me this way would be better....don't want to sift through stuff I'm not after...and other sites do it this way I've noticed...
TheSamba (by Type, whole & parts), & even ebay (they divide into sections/areas of interest....parts....whole
vehicles...models.....collectors....etc...etc..
This is going with what others are doing..
Even other site....Wolsburg west...West Coast Metric....etc...divide sales into Types and subsections of Type e.g. interior....exterior...sheet
metal...tyres/wheels....windows....accessories.....etc etc
It does make it easier if you are looking for 'one thing' (not a Thing)...and you don't want to be there all night reading through the list of
threads....
Well my 2c worth

Yes.
If the goal was to make the first page last longer, the only way to do this on a forum that has nearly three-four new pages every day is either to
make it longer (ie more posts per page) or make more sections.
Let's see how it works out, and if need be, I can reduce it back to just two additional forums.

If it's okay to trial what we have, that'd be best. And at least the mods don't have to go back and change everything again.
Revisit in a month or so and get peoples opinion after they've had a chance to get used to it.

Yep good idea, we all appreciate all the help from you administrators! Shall see how it goes in the current format - maybe start a thread (one of
those ones that stay at the top) of this chit chat section after a month for people to provide feedback re. the changes??
Thats just another 2c - you can round it up to 5 if you like since we did away with those little copper numbers :P

I was tempted to write a stupid mail in the buses section, but I'm afraid you'd feel disrespected in the morning Andrew! Wow - part of the forum for
being serious. I'll try to keep my urges in check. This could get messy!

That's what the drop sheets are for
I'm used to disrespect. I'm amazed no one's blagging me about the disappearance of a pic of a young lady having a technical malfunction with her
jeans.

The things I've missed around here Andrew!!!
Don't know whether to even post this one cos it must sound a bit weird...... missing a 'young lady' pic.....
Now, if it was a GUY having a technical malfunction it'd seem be OK
Gees now I'm confused....work with too many bent people :jesus
I've missed the fun around here.....
