if your in sydney you can get them from vintage vee dub supplies (haha beat you dave) they cost around the $500-600 mark they are from CB performance in the USA and are forged from a new casting and are of a high quality. wish i could afford to buy some myself if you are not in sydney then i have no idea.

CBB make their own. X-Ray tests have proved them beyond factory strength and reliability.

One customer even had his tested at BHP.

That'll keep the engineer's happy.

How many people , ie, inspectors(rta or local pinkslip guy) would even know of or recognize Dropped spindles on an early dub?, I would doubt they have let alone carry around the spec's of a 40 year old car?
As long as you, are confident you are getting and or puttting on a quality part then do it!
