Splity brakes?

Hey everyone, i was wondering if it is hard to fit the brake booster thing from a baywindow kombi into a split that has been fitted with a balljoint beam with disks? The beam is an early bay one so it doesnt have the bracket for the booster but i would weld one on from a later beam. How different is the pipework needed for it compared to what is in a split?
Thanks,
Alex.
