Getting a squareback on the road
I have a 72 squareback that needs to be done up to get it back on the road.
Does anyone know of someone in Melbourne who can do a basic resto to make it roadworthy as my wife would like to have a car.

hmmm.....sorry can't help you out.......now if you were in brisbane...!
but surely there is someone on the forum who knows of a decent place.....?
come on.....the more type 3s on the road to "spot" in beautiful melbourne, the easier it will be to get through those crisp and chilly
mornings......good luck!!!! hope the heater works!!!!

Yes, they are very funky - and practical! Not sure what I'm going to do with mine yet. Jenz posted a pic of a sweet squareback rat which i fell in
love with. Still deciding wether to rat mine or what. Have to find some cash first though so it might take a back seat until we move.
Anyway, sorry to hijack your thread Beetle Bailey - hope you find someone who can help!

Volkommen Art (in Clayton) might do it....they did a great job touching up my bug to get it on the road, they aren't cheap but you get what you pay
for
