Ok i dismantled a LHS door months ago 4 a respray got eveyrthing back in except the big bit of glass and the mechanism 4 it hellllpppppppppppp please:mad:

Its probably the worst job to do in a Beetle...
I have two to do... I have had the glass in & taken it out..
so its NOT impossible.. just bloody difficult...
I' have heard of people breaking the glass trying to either take them out [piece of cake] or put them back in....
I'll let someone else give You directions.... they gave them to Me but I forgot... I have the winder mechanism in but no glass --- yet....
