Whats wrong?

Ive got a 2 ltr Kombi. I drove it home from work last night and it was fine. No noises that werent appropriate at all.
I jumped in her this morning to go to work and it started but it had a slight rubbing sound but it could have been caused by 'wind' or air if you know what I mean. It didnt want to idle and it was running very rough like not on all cylinders. After a few revs it was running better but wouldnt idle.
It was parked on a slope with the engine on the low end. The tank hasnt much fuel in it and I dropped a screw in there a couple of months ago.
Any ideas of whats wrong

crap inthe carby maybe?
May have sucked up some crud from the bottom of the tank
something blocking the needle and seat?
Do you have any fuel filters? what kind of condition are they in?

if it runs " good" at high revs my guess is a blocked idle jet.

I take it we are talking twin PSDIT or what ever they are called????
