1984 caravelle questions for any guru
hi, I have a new-old VW caravelle 1984 and am wondering if anyone out there can help me find or recommend a good manual for the care and maintenence
of this beast. Also what problems or things should I look out for with this model? I'm a little concerned about this thing eating up tons of cash on
me if things go wrong with it...so what is the concensus on this models' specific do-dads and known things to look out for..
thanks

I think the main thing is the coolant.
They are known to have a few problems but the leaking head gasket is the worse. That said i know several people that have them and have never had this
problem. The main thing seem to be to keep the coolant clean, the right mixture and change regularly.
