Contemplating a sunroof

I'm thinking about putting in a sunroof on my 69 Bug that I'm restoring. Does anyone know what parts/equipment I'll need and how to go about doing it?

It's going to be red, so it needs a sunroof by default.

Much appreciated.

What sort of sunroof?

Are you staying original?

You can find original ones but they are getting harder to find....and an art to install

I found one ( a rag top clip) late last year and have had it installed

I'm thinking of one that operates in much the same way as the door windows.

I've seen sunroof cranks, I think that's what I want.

You're talking about a Herbie rag-top?
