relay box

while i'm askin questions........
what does it mean when your relay box (a little blue box directly behind my fuse box) is making noises? almost like the indicator is on permanently (the circuit is going on and off)
is this a problem? or something normal?

Hi Dodge

Are your blinker working? I blew 2 bulbs on one side of my bug and every time I used the blinkers the relay buzzed, when Ive blown 1 bulb the blinkers just flashed fast.

Relays shouldn't click unless they are switching on & off like blinker relays... but they shouldn't buzz...
that usually means the relay has had it... and its switching on & off all the time ?? or the points [contacts] inside have stuck together...[welded together] and need replacing...

a relay should be either On or Off...
they are just an electric switch....
I use them to save all that current going thru My old original VW switches...
